Each year, at the request of the University of Dubrovnik, I host an in-depth educational session for students of the 2nd and 3rd year of Economics and Business Economics. In 2017, once again, I opened the doors of my trading office to provide students with an immersive introduction to the financial markets — not through theory, but through real-world application.

Over the course of several hours, I guided them through the dynamics of both the stock and foreign exchange markets. Using live market conditions and professional trading platforms, I demonstrated in real time how global events, technical analysis, and trader psychology shape decision-making at the highest level.
What students often learn in classrooms is valuable — but theoretical. My goal has always been to bridge the gap between textbook knowledge and the actual behavior of markets. In these sessions, students don’t just hear about speculation — they see it unfold before them.

I believe that giving young people access to the reality of trading — the risks, the rewards, the discipline, and the decision-making — equips them with an authentic foundation for whatever financial path they choose. The energy in the room, their questions, and the curiosity they bring each year are reminders of why education matters.

It’s been my honor to share knowledge gained from years of experience in trading and investing with the next generation of economists and traders. Their future will be shaped by the decisions they make — and I’m proud to have helped them take one step closer to making informed, confident ones.
